Museum of Natural History Science Bulletins. Gr.
5-8 Examine "the natural world" via video,
photographs, multimedia, and other interactive
choices here that cover topics relating to
astrophysics, astronomy, biodiversity, and earth
science.
Crittercam Chronicles. Gr. 4-6 Explore animals
living in Antarctica, the artic, and the deep sea.
Learn about the evolution of "crittercams" and
observe habitats from the animals' point of view.

America's Wildlife Resource. Gr. 4-7 Operated by
the National Wildlife Federation, this site contains
the "sights and sounds" of 5,500 species. Here as
well is a park-finder feature, special options for
bird watchers and gardeners, screen savers,
contests, quizzes, and e-cards. Kids can enter
their zip code to locate dangerous and poisonous
animals native to their area.
Live@Exploratorium. Gr. 4-7 Sponsored by the
Children's museum in San Francisco, these Web casts
present "live video or audio broadcasts over the
Internet." Learn about Einstein's theory of
relativity, see views from the Hubble telescope, and
celebrate 100 years of physics. Users need multi
media access, ranging from Real Audio and Real
Player to Quick Time.
Museum of
Science and Industry. Gr. 6-9 Kids can take a
virtual tour of the U-505 submarine, learn about
genetics via a chick hatchery, and visit a coal
mine. Check out the archives of former exhibits at
this premier Chicago museum.
